What is the Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test?

This Multi-Cancer Early Detection screening uses ctDNA (circulating tumour DNA) released from tumour cells, to detect signals associated with multiple cancers from a single blood draw. Research in the performance of SPOT-MAS is clinically validated in Asia, with proven accuracy in cancer signal detection and tumour location prediction.

This test is suitable for individuals who:

  • Are aged 40 and above
  • Adults under 40 with high risk such as:
    • Family history of cancer
    • Smoking or heavy drinking habits
    • Hepatitis B/C infection
    • Occupational exposure (e.g. chemicals, radiation)
  • Want to take a proactive approach to their long-term health

This test is intended for screening purposes only and is not diagnostic on its own. A positive result should be followed by further clinical evaluation, which may include appropriate imaging and confirmatory investigations, as advised by a physician.
